Introducing VKTR! Vktr aka Viktor (yeah you probably guessed it) makes beats on his mac lappy and his old school sampler and his cheap worn out toy Casios. Viktor is also half of Burger alongside Nabo. He's also the man responsible for Burgers fresh visual identity. Hopefully some New Folder graphics will come along as well, heh! What's the short story about Vktr?
Hello my name is viktor (therefore vktr), i am twenty years old and have been making music for nearly 4 years now. I have moved between genres but now i have settled with a kind of slow, bass-heavy hiphop-esque thing. I make beats by hand and try to make melodies by using samples and hardware. I enjoy making remixes and mashups, so far i have made remixes of Pushing People and Naim and look foreward to be making more. I also dj with Uffe (Nabo) under the moniker "Burger", where we play everything from nasty funk to late 70's japanese electropop. Expect a burger-mashup compilation soon!

spring is almost here and we are coming out of our hives and into the sun! still pretty cold out but still much better! here's a small update on your favourite music boys and what they're up to!

danish electronica/dub artist spejderrobot will release a new album soon and to hype the shit he asked new folder beat makers bokal, aslope and eloq to remix a couple of the new tracks. they will be released digitally in some sort of different ways. you can check out spejderrobots music out here!

speaking of remixes nabo is pretty biz as well with remixing danish band ghost society. the remix will be released on singles sometime this spring, as well as bokal and nabo remixes of danish dubstep artist mikkel meyer. also nabo did a remix for new folders new favourite vocalist naim which we will put for download later on along with viktors awesome mix as well. viktor is also going by the names jerome lazer, 50%burger, morten ultraflækker and tidsdrengen. just in case you see one of these names on a flyer somewhere you know it's him! check his myspace flækkaaaaa....

eloq is pretty busy producing afro house as dj bacon and playing lots of gigs with his new dj crew lortehænderne. it's a takeover!



aslope just finished a bangin mix for vogelspands mixtape mondays. it's pretty much you'll expect from mixing up techno, dubstep and hiphop. bassheavy ravey shit plus some exclusives from his forthcoming record on hobby industries.
